This website is run by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Disproportionate burden
Completing form content
For all use types, form validation error messages are generic for all fields.
For nominators and lieutenants the wysiwyg text editor does not have a focus state for keyboard navigation.
We’ve assessed the cost of adding in custom error messages for all fields as well as replacing the wysiwyg text editor. We believe that doing so now would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We will make another assessment when the supplier contract is up for renewal, likely to be in 12 months.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Some of our PDFs are non-essential to our users as they also exist in HTML form. For example, we have PDFs with nomination form and local assessment form information.
